Well another year has begun and at the practice here we have had a busy time with lots of changes taking place. We have had new staff, new babies, new treatments and a new extension. But don’t worry, the oldies are still here!!
As many of you already know, we have a new Dentist in the practice, David Buchanan.
Clearstep: an invisible brace system to straighten teeth and align teeth
Inman Aligner: a removable brace which can straighten your front teeth in as little as 6 to 16 weeks
Facial Aesthetic Treatments such as Dermal Fillers, Botox and Chemical Peels
Dental Implants: to replace missing teeth or stabilize loose and uncomfortable dentures
Please contact one of our reception team if you would like more details of these treatments or why not book in for a free Facial Aesthetic Consultation
David Buchanan is our new dentist and he
will be working Monday’s and Wednesday’s.
Chloe Nesbitt has joined us as a trainee Dental
Nurse. She is working with Paul, and has
<settled into the practice
Many of you will know Heather Fleming as she has worked
in the practice in the past. She has joined us again and
is working part-time as part of the reception team
surgery and reception
Carole Wallace is now working part-time so that she can spend more time with her grand-daughter and Louise Anderson is the newest member of the team. She will be replacing our Hygienist Zara who we will all miss
N.I. CHILDRENS HOSPICE
As a team, each year we try to support a local charity. This year our chosen charity is the Northern Ireland Childrens Hospice and after consulting with Niamh Quinn the regional fundraiser for the hospice, we have decided that the greatest gift we could give is the gift of care. The cost for one hour of care is £30 and the Hospice is run totally on charitable donation with no government funding available.
We planned a charity Pub Quiz on Wednesday 14th December at Edenmore Golf Club in Magheralin. IIt was a great night with lots of prizes kindly donated by local businesses. We raised over £800 and would like to thank all our friends and patients for all their support.
Joanne is now back to work and she has asked me to send a personal thank you to all of her patients who sent their regards and for the many get well cards she received.
