We are delighted to let you know that we will be re-opening on Monday 6th July . For the last few weeks we have only been able to see patients for emergency treatment, but we are so glad that this restricted service has been eased over the next few weeks!
We have been overwhelmed by your support during the lockdown period and if you are overdue routine appointments, or if you have outstanding treatment, we ask that you bear with us just that little bit longer, after which time we look forward to welcoming you back into the practice.
Whilst many things may have changed over recent months, our commitment to deliver the highest standards of patient care remains the same.
Safety and infection control have always been of the highest priority in the practice and over the past weeks, we have been continually reviewing guidance, ensuring that when we do re-open we are providing a safe environment for our patients and team members.
Planning our return to work has been ongoing for some weeks now and we have updated our operating procedures, increased our safety protocols and sourced enhanced levels of PPE.
As a result of these changes, your next visit to the practice will look and feel a bit different. Our team members will be hidden behind masks and visors, and we will of course be promoting social distancing during your visit to the practice. Undoubtedly your experience will be very different from usual, but fear not, we are still the same friendly team that we were prior to entering lockdown!
As expected, there are many of you who are eager to be seen and we will endeavour to get to you all as soon as we can. Initially we will be prioritising those patients who are having pain. We have a list of patients who contacted us to use the emergency triage service during the lockdown period and we will be contacting these patients shortly to discuss their current needs.
The phased return will then move towards rescheduling all examinations, hygiene and routine appointments. We also have a record of all appointments that have been cancelled because of the lockdown. We will be in touch to rearrange these appointments, and we will ensure every patient is seen as soon as possible.
Finally, thank you again for your loyalty and patience throughout this pandemic. We truly are grateful for your support and cannot wait to get back to seeing and treating our patients.
